Your commitment

A partnership runs both ways.

These come with the partnership from day one. Read them before you apply — accepting the partnership means accepting them.

  • Once a week, tag @booknekoapp on your own social media — a story, a reel or a post, whichever you like. It has to be on your networks, outside Bookneko: a post inside the app doesn't count.
  • When you become an Ambassador, announce it publicly, once: a post on your own social media that takes on the role and tells your audience you're a Bookneko Ambassador.
  • In return, we keep you supplied: new features, articles, news and promotions to talk about, sent to every partner in good time — so you're never short of something to post.

The terms

Nothing changes once you've read this.

  • 12 months of commission per reader, from their first payment — every renewal while your partnership is active, not a one-time bounty.
  • Paid on what we actually receive, after Apple's or Google's cut. The math is in your dashboard.
  • If your reader upgrades to Premium, you earn on that too, at your rate.
  • Paid monthly, 45 days after the charge, once you pass $50. That delay is the refund window — it's how we never claw money back from you.
  • One partner per reader, permanently. First code wins, and no later campaign takes them from you.
  • Bookneko may end a partnership, at its discretion, when these commitments aren't kept. That is judged with ordinary good sense: an exceptional event or something life throws at you — an illness, a loss, a move, a new baby — never counts against you.
  • A partnership ends at whichever comes first: Bookneko judges that your activity is no longer enough, or 90 days go by without a single new reader coming in through your code or link — a free account counts, no subscription needed. Either way, commission you've already earned is still paid, your readers keep their rate, and you're welcome to apply again.

Tips

What works on BookTok and Bookstagram.

Good habits, not obligations — your only commitments are the ones above.

  • Put your link in your bio. On TikTok and Instagram, a link in a caption or a video can't be clicked — so your link goes in your bio (or your link-in-bio page), and every post can point to it.
  • Say your code, and show it. Say it out loud in your videos and put it on screen as text — plenty of people watch with the sound off. Answer every “where do I get it?” in the comments with it.
  • Keep it somewhere it lasts. A story is gone in a day. Pin a post or a comment with your code, and keep a Bookneko highlight on your Instagram profile so new followers find it too.
  • Show the app, don't describe it. Film your real shelf, your reading stats, your year in review. A screen recording of how you actually use Bookneko says more than any script.
  • Tell them what they get. Joining Bookneko is free, and your code takes 25% off Creative. Say both — even a free sign-up through your link is credited to you.
  • Say it's a partnership. Use the platform's paid-partnership or branded-content label, or add #ad. Your audience will trust you more for it — and Canada's Competition Bureau expects it.
  • Your weekly tag, ready-made. Every update we send — a new feature, an article, a promotion — is a post waiting to happen. Tag @booknekoapp so we see it.
  • Give them somewhere to go. Invite your audience to your book club or a reading challenge in Bookneko — “come read with me” is a reason to join that a discount isn't. Send them through your link first, so they arrive as your readers.

Your part in it

Bookneko is independent, and the people who use it shape it. The clubs you host, the readers you bring, and the things you tell us are broken land in the roadmap — not in a form nobody reads. You'd be building this with us, not just advertising it for us.
